Rodenstock-Tiefenbildner “Jmagon” 25cm (250mm) soft-focus lens in barrel. Serial number 2000840. This lens is in excellent condition. The glass is clean and without marks. This lens does not come with the strainer disks and does not include a flange. Aperture is f4.5.
The serial number indicates that this lens was manufactured in the 1920s. This lens is identical to the more modern Rodenstock Imagon. It is an achromatic doublet soft-focus design with two elements cemented together. Use this on your 4×5 camera with a shutter for soft-focus portraiture. I have used it on a speed graphic and a 4×5 Graflex Series D.
