Gundlach Radar Anastigmat 8×10 300mm f4.5 lens in Betax 5 shutter. Serial number 209390. This lens has good glass in front. The rear glass has faint wipe marks visible. The shutter supports speeds of 1/50s, 1/25s, 1/10s, 1/5s, and 1/2s. The shutter will need servicing/lubing, as it sticks. The aperture blades are beautiful, oil-free and work at all stops. The aperture lever works well and ranges from f4.5 to f45. This lens does include a flange. This lens includes a metal lens cap that is felted on the inside.
The Radar is a 5-element design, a development of the 4-element Tessar. There are two air-spaced elements in the front and three elements cemented together in the rear group. This lens easily covers 8×10. It is a good all-around performer.
